Everyday bread for a
Zambian market.
ABOUT
Daily Fresh is a packaged bread for the Zambian market introduced in 2018. Launching with a white bread, G.A.S was involved in creating a single package for the product, to be adapted across 4 other SKU’s.
ROLE
The identity and packaging was created in under 2 weeks as per client requirements. Positioned as a premium white bread, the packaging was designed for shelves - however distribution was dependent on personal deliveries.
Identity
With a market saturated with low cost breads, Havissa wanted to make an entry with its product, priced a little higher and aimed at Zambian supermarkets. The unit for Daily Fresh was inspired from wheat and styled to fit into the FMCG market.
Packaging
We use colour, pattern and bring an element of play in form. We wanted to have a premium look. We we inspired by fields to create the wrap around shapes. We used the same to allow the product to show through.
Flat-Lays
We were closely involved with translating our design to a manufacturable flat lay, the masters of which were produced in Mumbai and shipped to Lusaka, Zambia.
